Blackbirds Tavern & Blackbirds Bike Cafe Coming to Voorheesville
Two exciting new eateries are coming to Main Street in Voorheesville – Blackbirds Tavern and Blackbirds Bike Cafe! We’re thrilled to partner with Business For Good to build these projects that see the nonprofit bringing its community-focused business model to a new locale. Designed by Balzer & Tuck Architecture, Blackbirds Tavern will be a 5,000 SF restaurant featuring dining areas with fireplaces, a full bar and seating, a sports lounge with a fireplace, outdoor patio seating, and a full kitchen. Demolition has already begun on this project.
Across the street will be Blackbirds Bike Cafe, also designed by Balzer & Tuck Architecture. This 3,250 SF 2-story mixed-use building will feature a cafe with seating and a full kitchen on street level. More space for the cafe is found in the full basement, which includes storage, a cooler, a freezer, and an office. Two residential apartments sit on the second floor above the cafe.
