Greentree Stables, Saratoga Springs - Bonacio Construction

This project included the creation of two 400-foot-long equestrian barns with 100 stalls total plus a manager’s office with custom-designed windows and doors, slate roofs, and exposed framing cathedral ceiling in the main area, and bathroom building. The barns incorporated historically accurate building details such as slate and copper roofs, timber frame structured haylofts, Lucas Equine stall doors, and custom yellow pine wainscot and trim elements in every stall. The facility also features exterior wash stalls, equine specific rubberized floors and drains, and a custom therapy spa for the horses after their workouts.

Fasig Tipton Saratoga Auction Building

Bonacio Construction was hired to complete Phase II of the Fasig-Tipton Auction Grounds, which was a full remodel that included a new storefront, stage, and auctioneer’s podium. Douglas Fir wall paneling was used throughout the building. A new buyers lounge with all custom millwork was also built. 800 new theater seats were installed as was the new elevator, staircases, energy-efficient lighting, HVAC, and roof. Extensive landscape and hardscape put the final touches on the outside grounds.

Fasig Tipton Saratoga Auction Grounds

Fasig Tipton, Saratoga Springs - Bonacio Construction

Bonacio Construction was hired to do a complete renovation of the auction grounds at the historic Fasig-Tipton Sales Facility in Saratoga Springs. The project included two additions to the main pavilion building. Site work included significant hard-scape and landscape, a completely remodeled restaurant, and a new bath building with a Manager’s office. The project also boasts a custom 30 foot waterfall feature, slate and copper roofs throughout, extensive granite stonework walls and benches, decorative fencing work, and the latest in audio and video technology. The new walking and holding rings are a 7,000 square foot custom designed Douglas Fir timber frame structure with tongue and grove ceilings, custom railings with integrated granite drink rails, custom lighting, equestrian rubber floor system and operating clearstory windows. The restaurant includes the latest in commercial cooking equipment and custom lighting in the main eating area. The new outside eating area includes custom 26 foot retractable awnings and new Pine Hall pavers throughout. Included in the new bathroom building are new granite counters, lighted mirrors, coffered ceilings, Douglas Fir toilet partitions, custom doors and moldings, extensive tile walls and floors, and custom light fixtures.

2 West Bar & Grille

2 West Bar & Grille was the anchor tenant at 2 West Apartments. It was a commercial fit-up planned from day 1 to be included in the apartment community. The raw space was built out to have an open kitchen layout, dining room with barn board, bar room, and outdoor patio with fire pit. Industrial meets modern in this space with stained concrete flooring and exposed ductwork and ceilings.

377 Church Street

This 13,000 square foot medical office building located in Saratoga Springs was designed as a companion piece to an already existing 10,000 square foot building by 3t Architects. The new building consists of 3 separate office spaces. Approximately 85% of the building is currently occupied, Saratoga Surgical Specialists on the second floor and New York Oncology Hematology on the first floor. Bonacio Construction was responsible for working very closely with both Architect, tenants and Jeff Pfeil (construction manager) to accommodate the special needs of the business fit ups.

NBT Bank

Originally built as the Saratoga branch of City National Bank (now NBT Bank), this structure was designed with speculative office space alongside bank facilities to comply with the City’s zoning ordinance requirements. The charm of its exterior, with its brick facade and details on the floor-to-ceiling windows, reflects the heritage of Saratoga. The interior features an impressive 16-foot tall vaulted ceiling, glass window enclosed lobby, and conference room.
