33 Second Street
Continuing to build upon the success of our downtown Troy acquisitions, 33 Second Street was purchased by Bonacio Development in 2015. The building was initially designed by renowned architect Marcus Cummings in 1891 for the former Young Women’s Association, now the YWCA, and was later owned by the Christian Science Church. Located in the heart of Troy’s Monument Square historic district, this property is at the epicenter of all this great Capital Region city has to offer. Working with our architect, Bonacio Development successfully obtained historic tax credits, allowing the project to progress. Bonacio Construction’s renovation of this classic 19th-century building fused historic charm with modern amenities, such as ceramic tile floors and granite countertops. It now boasts 14 apartments on the top 3 floors and four street-level commercial spaces.
