Luxury Custom Homes

The owners of this one-bedroom condo wanted to make the most of their space. Fresh paint, new light fixtures, and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout brighten the entirety of the now-open floor plan.

The kitchen received a makeover in the form of new custom cabinets made to match the paneled fridge, Calacatta Quartz countertops with a waterfall edge, all-new fixtures, and a subway tile backsplash that wraps onto a tiled wall.

The kitchen opens to the living space, where applied moldings are affixed to the wall. The inverted tray ceiling, which limited space in the dining room, was removed. Two faux columns lining the entry to the living room were also removed to open the space. Luxury details shine throughout the living room with a custom recessed tray ceiling and shiplap accents behind custom built-ins with LED-lit shelving surrounding the fireplace. Additionally, applied molding around the television was custom created to match the current fireplace mantle. The fireplace is finished off with a newly tiled surround and threshold.

We altered the floor plan of the remaining space for an expanded open flow. Custom ceiling-hung double barn-style doors open to the home office and primary suite. The office features a custom bookshelf with LED lighting that lines the back wall. The bookshelf’s right side is taken up by one of the building’s pillars, so while it doesn’t hold any storage, it was created to maintain a symmetrical design.

To the left of the office is the primary bedroom, where we increased closet space and provided custom closet shelving. To the right of the office lies the bathroom, where we reconfigured the layout to utilize its space better. A new vanity with a lower center makeup counter, custom cabinets, and a linen closet line the wall opposite the impressive, large shower. This unique custom shower with tile surround and inset mosaic tile includes a rain shower head, four body sprays, a hand-held shower head, and a custom-designed door with a cut-out for easy access to shower controls. Rounding out the space is a laundry closet for the washer and dryer, which once stood in place of the office.
