Morrissey’s Lounge & Bistro

As part of Bonacio Construction’s renovation and new construction of the Residences at the Adelphi Hotel, Morrissey’s Lounge & Bistro, located off the lobby of the Adelphi Hotel, was expanded. With a nod to Saratoga’s 19th-century history, when the hotel was established, leather and brass details flow throughout each space, from the main bar to the restaurant and the sushi bar. The restaurant’s deep blue paneling is a soothing match paired with dark wood details and new chevron-patterned flooring. These same dark wood details carry through the rest of the spaces, most prominently in the bar, which features portraits of the lounge’s namesake, John Morrissey, a champion bare-knuckle boxer, politician, and founder of the Saratoga Race Course.
