Saratoga Golf & Polo Club
Sports & Entertainment
Saratoga Golf & Polo Club has added two new buildings to its property. The first is a 1,430 SF Cabana & Warming Hut which features a wooden pergola mounted on fiberglass-wrapped columns overlooking the pool. This structure includes a full kitchen and bar on one side and a warming hut on the other facing the newly installed heated paddleball courts. Located next to the tennis courts is a 1,430 SF Pro Shop with a prominent candle-snuffer roof atop fiberglass-wrapped columns and features beaded Douglas Fir ceilings on the entry and breezeway. It includes an office, a large shopping area, and golf bag storage connected by a breezeway to a second office and two restrooms. The Bonacio Metal Shop installed railings. We pulled a lot of rock from underneath the new Cabana and Warming Hut, which we used to create a retaining wall alongside the Pro Shop and in front of the bio-retention pond, which we also dredged and installed a new overflow structure. Both buildings are wood framed with stucco and PVC board trim, Anderson windows, and aluminum-clad doors. They were designed by Balzer + Tuck Architecture, with the site designed by The LA Group.
