The Dauchy Building

Mixed-Use / Multi-Family

This rehab project consisted of creating 29 residential apartments and 5 commercial spaces. Located on lively River Street in downtown Troy, The Dauchy building overlooks the grand Hudson River, Monument Square, and the River Street Park. The building was built in 1842 and its rehab stays true to its heritage with exposed brick walls, wood, and barreled ceilings, while modern features such as granite countertops, sleek hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances are brought in to nicely complement the historic charm. The kitchens are exceptionally decorated including Beech cabinetry with a Walnut finish, reflective of the old world charm, topped with beautiful granite countertops, and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances.
