Luxury Custom Homes

Sometimes a few well-placed upgrades are all you need to make a big impression. For this Saratoga Springs home, we started with an essential feature of any home – the front door! We gave it a fresh new coat of paint with a glossy black finish inside and out. On the home’s interior, we transformed the front room from an office to a bourbon room. Now dripping in moody blue shades, this lounge is perfect for entertaining. Floor-to-ceiling built-ins created by the Bonacio Woodshop take up one wall and feature oiled soapstone countertops and backsplash, a black hammered sink, and LED lighting lining the shelves. The front foyer, stairway, and second-floor hallway also got a premium paint treatment. These walls were painted with SureCrete, a textured paint with a faux plaster look in a soft white finish.

We tore out the existing pavers in the backyard and installed new ones covering a larger area. Along the edge of the fence line is new landscaping in the form of a sequence of Arborvitae trees. We also installed a new outdoor kitchen. A complete concrete bar with waterfall-edge countertops by Matt Young Landscaping wraps around a Kalamazoo grill. Finishing off the bar are heartwood maple shelves from Twisted Timber. We also put in new outdoor lights and a television above the space.
