Woodhaven is a new residential community on the site of the former military housing neighborhood, Woodhaven Park, in Rome, NY. After Griffiss Air Force Base closed in 1995, the need for base housing ended, and the homes were abandoned and fell into disrepair. With the revitalization of the base as the Griffiss Business & Technology Park and new industries moving into Central NY, the need for housing in the Rome community grew again.

We’re building Woodhaven using a phased approach. The first phase contains seven single-family homes in two styles designed by KPB Architecture. Both types include contemporary features, including Quartz countertops, 9-foot ceilings, a full basement, and a 2-car garage. The Woodstock is a 1,400 SF ranch-style house with two beds and two baths. The Gansevoort is a 1,600 SF two-story house with three beds and two and a half baths.
