Rebuilding Together Saratoga County Volunteer Day
We’re always happy to help a neighbor in need! That’s why we teamed up with West Side Management and Rebuilding Together Saratoga County to help fix up an elderly couple’s home in Ballston Spa. Here is a sampling of the work we did:
- Repainted the home’s front exterior and trim
- Installed a piece of the aluminum facia that had blown off
- Added water diverters
- Replaced the rotted rear door to the main house with a sliding door
- Put in exterior handrails leading from the back steps to the patio
- Replaced the roof on the back screen porch that was badly rotted
- Investigated a soft spot on the screen porch’s floor
- Did yard work, including spreading new mulch and spring cleaning the garden and backyard
