The Children’s Museum at Saratoga Ground Breaking
We had a wonderful time celebrating The Children’s Museum at Saratoga at its new location’s ground breaking! The event took place at the Lincoln Baths in the Saratoga Spa State Park where we’re currently working on renovating 2 floors for the Museum that total over twice its current size. This new location designed by Envision Architects will be the leading museum for children in the Capital Region after The Children’s Museum at Saratoga merges with The Children’s Museum of Science and Technology.
There was an incredible turnout for the ground breaking including board members and donors from both museums, New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, Empire State Development, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from state and local government including Saratoga Springs Mayor Meg Kelly, New York State Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, and New York State Senator Daphne Jordan.
